There is something really touching about watching an older sibling take care of their younger siblings. Especially when that older sibling is an adult with little siblings that think their big brother or sister is the sun, the moon and the stars. A big family with a wide range of ages is so, so fun to witness firsthand.
Rosey and Duane have created the perfect family. They've been together for over a decade and their love truly shows. While they love traveling, sports, hunting, camping, and summertime, their children are what they love the very most! They have five beautiful children, one boy and four girls. Their oldest is in college and their youngest is toddler that keeps them on their toes. The sweet kids with various ages in between keep their life busy with all the running around and activities. But despite the chaos of life with kids, Rosey and Duane love their family life and the fun and joy that comes with being parents.
Madilyn is the oldest in the family and is getting ready to turn 19. She is attending Utah State but will be leaving for a church mission to Peru soon! She is everyone's favorite big sister and is so helpful with her younger siblings. She is as outdoorsy as her parents and also loves sports and traveling. The family is going to miss her so much while she is gone.
Gavin is the second oldest in the family. He will be turning 11 soon and is all of his sister's favorite brother. He is smarter than a 5th grader even though he is a 5th grader! He is a beautiful piano player, and a great basketball and pickleball player! He loves to help out on the farm with his chickens and lambs and is always a very hard worker.
Whitney just turned 9 and she wants nothing more than to be like her big sister in every single way. She is in 3rd grade, but sometimes acts beyond her age. She is sweet and sassy in every way but has a personality you can't help but love. Like Gavin, she is a great piano player. She also loves her tumbling class and riding horses and her dogs and kittens on the farm.
Presley is number four in the family. She is 7 years old and in 1st grade. She is all sunshine and rainbows even though she can be shy when she first meets someone. She is the lover in the family and can't help but give a lot of hugs to her siblings and parents. Her favorite animals on the farm are the bunnies and kittens. She recently started learning piano and is really enjoying it. I have no doubt she will excel just as much as her siblings!
Navy is the caboose of the family. She just turned 4 and is over the moon about starting preschool. She is feisty and fun, but also has her moments of driving mom crazy! She loves Bluey and Peppa Pig, dress up and Lego building. But her favorite activity is reading stories with momma! She is the perfect youngest sibling and is adored by all her big sisters and brother.
This whole family is so much fun to be with. The kids are darling and polite, charming and kind. I loved having a front row seat to the family dynamics and interactions and I was really, really grateful during our whole session that they chose me to capture their love for each other!
