Green Canyon is one of my favorite locations for families because it's easy walk which is great for little ones. Green Canyon is located about 10 minutes away from the north Walmart. Once you arrive at Green Canyon, the shooting location is only about 100-300 feet from parking. The walk is short and on mostly flat ground (there are only a few bumps in the road) and you never lose sight of the car. My favorite time of year to shoot at Green Canyon is in May because there are beautiful yellow flowers. The flowers are only on in May which makes it an incredibly popular location for photos which is why I recommend shooting at Green Canyon during the week instead of on the weekend.
