One reason I really love maternity sessions is because it means I will soon have another newborn in my studio and I will never get enough of capturing little baby photos. Lindsie and Tim already have one darling child named John. He is 2.5 and it shows! He is rambunctious, and loving, and so adventurous. He wants to discover all the new things and it's so fun to watch. He is a boy through and through. At the top of the list of things he loves is sticks, rocks, animals and the great outdoors. He loves to explore and would spend all day outdoors if Lindsie and Tim would let him! He was a little darling for our session and gave me some of the best smiles and expressions. Without a doubt he will be the best big brother!
Lindsie and Tim have been married for 7 years. They just recently traded in the warmth for the snow when they moved to Logan from Flagstaff, AZ. Lindsie is a research entomologist for the USDA Bee Lab which means she studies the ecology of native bees. Totally cool, am I right? Tim has the best job in the world of stay at home dad and before that he spent 8 years as a law enforcement officer. They both love being in the outdoors which is where John developed his love for being outside.
Unfortunately, being pregnant can force a person to slow down. While Lindsie and Tim like to go hiking with John, it's something that got much harder to do the farther Lindsie got in her pregnancy. So as a family, they improvised and instead spent a lot of time in their backyard gardening or just spending time together. Lindsie told me she didn't want to forget this stage of their lives and she felt like it was going by so fast. I think we've all felt that way at least once or twice. I'm so glad we could take the time to do a maternity shoot before their lives become even more busy with baby #2 and life speeds by at a faster pace.
