Logan Canyon by Beaver has a gorgeous view of the mountains with some aspens and a lot of pine trees. There is short sage brush on the ground, but no long grass. It can be a bit of a drive up the canyon taking about 45 minutes from the North Walmart, but the view and finished photos are definitely worth it. The higher up the canyon you get, the less phone service you will have so make sure you have the location pulled up on your maps before leaving! By the time you get to the photo location, there is no cell phone service. Once at the location, you will stay in view of the car at all times. There is a little uphill walk, but nothing unmanageable. There is an outhouse, but no flushing toilets, so plan accordingly for that. The best time to start a photoshoot in Logan Canyon is about 1.5-2 hours before sunset.
