The Cherry Blossoms is one of my favorite places to have sessions. The blossoms add the perfect pop to your photos and they are beautifully white. The blossoms come onto the tree in mid to the end of April. I try to have mini sessions here every year at that time so if you're hoping to do photos in the spring, this is a perfect location. Since the blossoms are only on the trees for a few weeks, this is a very popular location during that time. It can get very busy especially on the weekends which is why I recommend scheduling your session for the middle of the week. I also recommend starting a session at the Cherry Blossoms 1-2 hours before sunset.
The Cherry Blossoms are located about 50 minutes from the north Walmart in Logan. When you arrive, you park on the side of the road and walk up a small hill to the trees. There is dirt, rocks and weeds on the ground, but besides a few poky weeds, it’s not a bad terrain. I always like to bring bug spray and would recommend the same for you. There are some mosquitos that are never too bad, but there are enough that having bug spray is nice! If this is the location for you, I suggest using the bathroom before you start the drive because there are no bathrooms there. And one last thing to note—there is a travel fee for this location. Overall, you will never regret choosing the Cherry Blossoms for your location. It’s one of my favorite places and I think the pictures speak to why!
