When Brooke and Hunter came into my home studio with their beautiful baby girl, I was totally smitten. And I knew from the very beginning that their photos were going to turn out so dreamy. Brooke looked beautiful and had the new mom glow about her. I instantly fell in love with this little family and loved the time I spent with them.
Brooke and Hunter met in high school and dated for years until he left to serve a mission for their church. After he arrived home, they quickly got married. They had been dating for nine years and it was meant to be. They have now been married for four and a half years and just welcomed the perfect addition to their family. Before their baby girl was born, Hunter was accepted to medical school!!!! Brooke is a registered nurse and has been working in the surgical center in Cache Valley. A nurse and a doctor—the perfect pair! Aside from how well their careers compliment each other, their personalities are so compatable. I know I don't get to spend a lot of time with all my clients, but in the short amount of time I spent with Brooke and Hunter I was able to tell they are perfect for each other. They have so much fun together and even though they have been together for almost 14 combined years, I felt like they were still in the phase of newly wed bliss. Their love for each other is palpable and now their love has taken a new form as they welcomed their sweet girl Dorothy Laine.
Dorothy, or Dottie for short, was the tiniest, sweetest bundle of love. Her parents love everything about her and honestly it's hard not to. Her cheeks are perfectly squishy and her little lips are perfectly plump. Oh, and don't even get me started on how darling she looks in a bow! During our session she slept like an angel and allowed me to capture her serenity perfectly. Hopefully on the hard days when serenity feels far away Brooke and Hunter will be able to look back on these photos and remember that the newborn phase and all those after are fleeting! The hard days will always end!
